Some Democratic lawmakers say that, while President Barack Obama’s plan to cut payroll taxes may strengthen the U.S. economy, it may have some unintended fallout: weakening Social Security.
The North Platte Telegraph On Aug. 15, the North Platte Social Security office, 300 East Third Street, Room 204, will reduce the number of hours it is open to the public by 30 minutes each weekday. The office will be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
